Hi, my name is Josh, a music lover from Manchester living in Sheffield. Music has helped me interpret the world around me and understand myself in a way that nothing else can, so I figured that this blog was the perfect place to express myself and share my thoughts and feelings about the artists, albums, and songs that I love and want others to love.
I have always been fascinated by how music can dictate our mood so drastically. Those chord sequences that evoke more emotion in seconds than a film can do in hours, the drum beats that dictate the rhythm of our walk, the bass lines that grab onto us to make us dance in our rooms, the lyrics that speak to us in a way that nobody else does. Listening to music makes us feel heard.
The best problem about music is that there is so bloody much of it. We are all presently unaware of the songs that we will listen to in the future which will stick with us for the rest of our lives, the songs we will pass down to our children and their children afterwards.
So, the goal of Audio Odyssey is to guide fellow music lovers towards the artists that move me, and the artists that will hopefully stick with you too for a lifetime.
